Lake Wallenpaupack is located in the Pocono Mountains near Hawley, Pennsylvania. There are many cottages and cabins to rent besides campgrounds, motor inns, resorts and hotels to stay in.

A historic bed and breakfast to stay in is the Academy Street Bed and Breakfast. It is a historic home with modern amenities. A nice touch besides including breakfast, is the late-night snack also included in the price.

Caesars Cove Haven is a Caesars Pocono Resort and is a romantic resort for honeymooners, couples or anyone who wants a romantic getaway. It has the exclusive 7ft. champagne glass whirlpool bath for two. The suites all feature fireplaces which makes it even more intimate.

Another romantic resort is The Country Inn at Old Mill Stream, part of the Celebrity Resorts Poconos. It is an 1890 Victorian-style hotel with rooms and suites listed on the national register. There are sun decks that overlook waterfalls, a parlor with a fireplace and a game room with game tables. The suites each have full kitchens, a dining and living room area, and a spiral staircase.

East Shore Lodging is another fine place to lodge at Lake Wallenpaupack. It overlooks the lake. All of the rooms here are designed each in a different style. There is a Tree Bed room that has the bed frame made of tree bark. All of the rooms have a different color and design scheme. Even the bedspreads are different. There are also Queen and King suites that each have a different look, but all are very roomy. The East Shore has boat slips right on the lake for easy access.

Another resort directly on Lake Wallenpaulack is Ehrhardt’s Waterfront Resort. It has landscaped lawns and trees with a variety of accommodations. They include motel rooms, cottages and family units. There is also a lakefront restaurant and a banquet center. Besides strolling through the beautiful grounds at the resort, there is also a swimming pool to enjoy.

The Tanglewood Resort is another lovely place to consider. It is a condominium cluster offering different views around Lake Wallenpaulack. Each condo has a kitchen, living and dining room, one or two baths and balconies.
The resort features an indoor and an outdoor swimming pool, live entertainment and many other amenities.
